Hoover and Eisenhower Did It. Why Can't They Do It Today?

Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me. But, back during the Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of all illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback' so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 years, but they deported them!
Now, if they could deport the illegals back then, they can sure do it today!! If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, the check out the link below:

JUST REMEBER YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST

On 2/16/08, I posted my comments about the republicans voting in Texas for Obama. While Rush Lumbaugh and other conservative radio talk show hosts were busy bad mouthing Senior Senator John McCain for not being so far to the right that he could only please the likes of folks like Rush, and other racist sexist (extremist) conservative radicals.

I was tuning in by phone to the great state of Texas and many like minded middle of the road Texans, who by the way see their politics as being RIGHT. How they see themselves is being Right in the middle of the right side of the road. A good place to be if you are driving your car or driving your politics home, in America.

Anyway then I predicted that folks down there were passing the word to vote Democratic, even though their heart and convictions are Republican just to screw up the final Democratic nomination and the in the fall get behind McCain. Well it appears my sources were correct.

That now seems to be the case and Lump along Lumbaugh and other extreme radio talk show agitators are now jumping on the band wagon, and claiming fame for the results. They have even begun to convince folks that in the end if you are Repulblican you gotta get behind "the party" in the fall and vote for McCain.

Below is the article to back that up.
Can GOP Voters Spoil the Dem Race?
By HILARY HYLTON/AUSTINThu Mar 20, 11:25 AM ET
As if Democrats didn't have enough problems deciding upon their presidential nominee this year, now they must contend with the possibility that Republicans are deliberately crossing party lines to prolong the bitterly contested race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. In recent weeks, conservative talk radio stars Rush Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham have urged loyal listeners to vote for the much-despised Clinton in open Democratic primaries so as to prevent Obama from sealing the nomination, and there are some indications that their calls have already been heeded in states like Texas and Mississippi.
Even in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania, where the April 22 primary is closed to independents and Republicans, there are signs that some Republicans are going so far as to switch their party registration by the March 24 deadline to participate in what Limbaugh has dubbed "Operation Chaos." In the last five months, there has been a 2.2% increase in the number of registered Democrats in Pennsylvania versus a tiny dip of 0.12% in Republican numbers. Veteran Pennsylvania pollster Terry Madonna expects some 100,000 new Democrats to vote on April 22, about 5% of the total expected to vote. In historic Gettysburg, Adams County Elections Supervisor Monica Dutko told the local newspaper, The York Daily Record, she was a seeing an unprecedented steady stream of switchers, some of whom volunteered they were changing registration from Republican to Democrat at the urging of Limbaugh.
Madonna, however, believes most of those new Dems will go for Obama, which goes against the Limbaugh conspiracy theory. It is also exactly what the upstart candidate himself been working toward. Obama, who until recently was winning the lion's share of Republican votes in open Democratic primaries, is running radio ads in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia calling on voters to register as Democrats this week.
The first clue that Republicans might be making this kind of mischief came in the crucial Texas primary on March 4, a contest that most observers claimed Clinton had to win - along with Ohio - to keep alive her hopes for the nomination. Dave Mann, a political writer for the progressive Texas Observer, was driving to Fort Worth on that primary day when he heard various callers to the Laura Ingraham radio show claiming they had followed her and Limbaugh's call. One even admitted he would now have to go to confession and repent his sins. As he listened, Mann dismissed the idea that Republicans would have a significant impact on the Democratic outcome in Texas.
But the next day, after examining the exit polls from Texas and earlier states, he changed his mind. "As Republican participation increased, Hillary got more votes," Mann said. Some of them came from Allison Cavey's family. "My whole family actually voted for Hillary in the Texas primaries and we are all McCain supporters," said Cavey, 32, a Dallas resident who works for a medical software company. "We all thought it would be easier to beat Hillary in the fall. Also, we all agreed that if for some reason a Democrat won the election we would be better off with Hillary than Obama...scary thought!"
In both Ohio and Texas, Republicans and independents were a higher percentage of the votes than in other states. "Based on past results, you would think that favors Obama, who has done well in 'open' Democratic primaries where Republicans can crossover on election day," Mann said. Obama won among California independents 58-32%; Virginia Republicans went for him 72-23; and he won Missouri Republicans 75-21. But in Texas and Ohio the two Democrats split the Republican/independent vote. "The Hillary Republicans cost Obama Texas," Mann said. The Mississippi results a week later confirmed the trend. "There was a complete reversal," Mann said, and Obama was now losing Republicans and independents two to one to Clinton. "Without a doubt, Rush, and to a lesser extent me, had some effect on the Republican turnout," Ingraham told Fox News. "When you look at those exit polls, it is really quite striking."
Proving that claim is still not easy. Prior to Texas primary day, longtime political numbers cruncher Royal Masset, a former GOP state party political director, dismissed the notion of a talk radio impact as "hogwash" and "urban myth." But during the two-week early voting period, down ballot Republican officeholders were nervous as they watched a record number of early voters ask for Democratic ballots, even in traditionally red counties. On election day, poll officials reported record requests for Democratic ballots in the reddest areas of the state. In Collin County, just north of Dallas where there is not a single Democratic officeholder, more voters chose to cast Democratic ballots - some 72,543 - than had voted in the November election for John Kerry, who got 69,000 votes. In 2000, only 3,735 voted in the Democratic primary, and the number was not much higher in 2004, some 6,493. "I can't put my finger on it," Dennis Simmons, a political scientists at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, said on election day as he saw red counties recording big blue turnouts.
After looking over the election day numbers in detail, Masset concluded that half a million Republicans had voted in the Democratic primary, but that many had done it not to support Clinton, as urged to by Limbaugh, but for Obama. In Collin County, for example, 57% voted for Obama, but declined to cast a vote in down ballot races. Only 41,894 - a dropoff of 43% - voted in a competitive Democratic U.S. Senate primary race.
"Those 500,000 Republicans who voted in the Democratic party couldn't even bring themselves to vote for a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senator," Masset said. He believes some crossed over at the urging of talk radio, but more crossed over to vote for Obama, caught up in the excitement of a horse race; still, only detailed follow-up polling might provide more insight into the Republican crossover votes.
Not all pollsters agree with Masset's analysis. Citing his respect for both Masset and Limbaugh, Republican pollster Michael Baselice said his examination of the numbers leads him to believe the number of Republicans participating in the Texas primary this year was similar to past primary elections. "The bigger story," Baselice said, "is how many people came out and voted in a primary for the first time." In Dallas County 58% of the voters had never voted in either party's primary, while in Harris County, home to Houston, an astounding 64% of the primary voters had no primary voting history record. Obama won in those two large urban areas.
But while pollsters crunch the numbers, Limbaugh is relishing the Democratic battle. On primary day in Mississippi he told listeners: "I'm not going to tell Republicans to go over there and vote, because I don't think I have to anymore. I think everybody understands here. But I want Obama to win this tonight. I want Obama to win Mississippi. I want Obama to win everything 'til we get to Pennsylvania. Then it's a different ballgame. Then we start being "un-American" again, to quote liberals," Limbaugh said laughing. "Then we start to sabotage all over again. The key about that, though, is you've gotta be registered with the party you intend to vote in Pennsylvania by March 24th. That's early. That's almost a month before the election date, which is April 22nd. So be thinking about that, folks."
Other talk radio hosts have taken up the cause. In Oregon, where voters must register by party by April 29 to vote in the May 20 primary. Conservative talk radio host Victoria Taft has been pushing Republicans to re-register as "dummocrats." Elections officials are seeing an increase in switchers, but voters' motives may not be divined until the Oregon exit polls are released. Meanwhile, Limbaugh opened his program Wednesday with a victory cry: "Operation Chaos is exceeding all objectives...this is just fabulous." Dubbing the Obama-Clinton face-off a "soap opera," Limbaugh says he will carry his campaign through to the final primaries in early June.
"I want our party to win. I want the Democrats to lose," Limbaugh said. "They're in the midst of tearing themselves apart right now. It is fascinating to watch. And it's all going to stop if Hillary loses." View this article on Time.com

IRISH FOR A DAY

FREUD SAID SOMETHING ABOUT THE IRISH:

"This (The Irish) is one race of people, for whom phychoanalysis is of no use whatsoever!"

Am I Irish? You betcha!, and proud of it.
What does it mean to be Irish?

It means being connected to roots that are more myth than reality.

It means being part of a genetic family that to this day has yet to be determined just how far and wide it has spread throughout the world, especially the European continent.

It means rising to the occasion with a fire that burns from within for no known reason.

It means love of family more than most others who claim the same sense of dedication.

It means a sense of loyalty that is instinctual.

It means being born with a tongue so sweet it can make the taste of clover honey seem bitter.

It means coming from a crisis Catholic backround.

It means having no less than one full blown alchoholic uncle in the family that everyone just puts up with.

It means having a cousin that you have a crush on so hugh, that you wish you weren't related.

It means feeling lucky you were born on a rainy day.

It means you might be called a tinker.

It means not talking to a family member for years but the minute they are threatened you are willing to die for them.

It means being able to literally carry a tune in a bucket.

It means getting the most out of nothing.

It means an upwelling of emotion on March 17th, that no one but another Irishman can understand. So everyone needs to be Irish on that day. After all we have the best parades.

WELL THERE YOU HAVE IT ! The Democrats Win The Boobie's Prize

In an article run in the Washington Post on March 10th, 2008, about all of the sex scandals since the days of Jefferson, the Democrats out paced the Republicans by a margin of more than 2/1. I would think that has something to say about liberalism and how it views morals and politics.

Granted perhaps and for sure there are many politicians who most probably engaged in illicit, or scandalous acts while seated in Washington. So in fact these numbers presented are skewed, but if nothing else it shows the damn Democratics are much more apted to be caught than Republicans, and maybe just maybe the actuality is that being a Republican based on moral and ethical convictions just really does have more upright and responsible representatives in office's elected by the people.

Liberalism without a doubt presents itself as a group of self gratifying egocentrically adulating, expressionists of their idealisms, based on a lack of social self discipline and disbelief in any form of rational higher power.

An so what else would you expect from such a group , but a sense of "above the rules".

OH HELL HILLARY JUST ASK THE CHINESE FOR IT.

With all of this snafu about a re due by the Democrats in Michigan and Florida you'd think it would make a difference. As Rudy Guiliani would say and quite often did in every interview during his momentary pipe dream about running for President," the reality is".

Here are the facts.

Even if Hillary were successful in both states she would still loose the nomination based on the pledged super delegates already for Obama. That is unless the Clinton's could come up with enough bag money to cause a sufficient number of those delegates to turn coat against their voting constituents and alienate and entirely new generation of Democrat idealistic voters.

The other thing to think about right now is ,) and I'm am not entirely sure about Michigan at this moment) but Florida's Governor says "No way Jose" the state ain't gonna be asked for another $18 million to make it a go.

Ol "Scooby Doo's buddy Howard "Scruffy" Dean, says the answer lies in soft money!. Now here is the tricky part.

Lets see wasn't it Al Gore that was makin all those calls from the basement of the White House to solicit all that Chinese Money? After the way Hillary trumped him in his attempt to run for President when she was running for the Senate going after big money donors ja think she has his help? Not likely.

And didn't the Clinton's Chinese lobbyist/fundraiser friend recently get indicted? flee to China and then surrender to the federal gate keepers upon return? He can't help it that all his friends were illegal garment workers in New York's China town when the feds started checking up on his last soft money package.

Hmmm. And ain't all them people down there in Florida mostly Jewish ? Yeah the Jewish community has been known to lean heavily towards liberal Democrats and many of them in fact probably more than half migrated south from Hillary's representative state of New York. Buuuuuuuuutttt, even they know when not to buy a stale bagel that's been left on the shelf too long and they can smell the fresh ones coming out of the oven.

But wait wait a minute! How about this. There is a way Jose!! Didn't Hillary's presently reigned in hubby Bill in the not too distant past fly over with an small American nobody mining company CEO to Jerkaroundustan or something like that, and sow up a huge mining contract which in turn showered bue'que bucks on the Clinton's in some fastidious manner for her original campaign coffers? That might be tapped, for more than the $5 mil that Hillary suddenly loaned to her own campaign.

Oh wait how about this? The second largest commodity in Florida after fresh oranges, is .... you guessed it !, fresh illegals, mucho latinos!! Many more than the already respectful and well established Cuban community, who are now on the fence about Clinton if they are so inclined to lean to the left.

How about the DNC sends down the buses like they did during the Bush run for President and fills the seats with illegals this time instead of illiterates who thought chad was some other guy on the bus (where's my cigarettes?).

You could hand each wanna be legal a package of fresh $20.00 bills that suddenly appears in Howard Dean's office by Fed Ex from Jerkaroundistan. They could then drive these folks around the block and drop them off right in front of the DNC headquarters in Miami where they wouldn't stand out at all with a hand written note in English, It could say that they wished to contribute to Hillary's election campaign with explicit instructions that the money is to be spent to finance her rerun of the Democratic primary /caucus or what ever the DNC is going to call it.

Of course nobody is going to ask them if they are registered voters because that would be illegal. And as long as each one of them didn't appear to be giving too much money, more than could be expected from the common man, I'm sure they could raise enough for her to again seek the Florida's vote. Even though it would do no good.

Pondering how the Clinton's do business however I believe if they could accomplish this the next step would be to outright attempt to buy off as many super delegates that they could and the new Democratic idealist be damned after all "Thats Politics Clinton Style".

Chavez Uses Old Tactic

Venezuela's leader yesterday used one of the oldest tactics in the book to draw attention away from Caracas' ailing economy, and troubled social reform package. In a move that was reminiscent of Poncho Villa's declaration of war against the newly formed Republic of Texas Hugo Chavez publicly ordered his Military Generals to send approximately 3000, zuelan soldiers to man the frontier border shared with Columbia. This was supposedly in response to a report that President Uribe of Columbia's crack troops accompanied by members of an elite U.S. Special Forces command team had killed one of the rebel group FARC's most important leaders.

Chavez seized upon a chance to not only bolster his fading image as another Fidel Castro revolutionizing his country towards peasant worker socialism, but to divert his standing army away from potential revolt withing the army posts closer to Caracas.

There is much unrest within the miltary at present due to the nagging problems of insufficient pay if getting paid at all is an option. Also inflation, world wide rising oil prices the sinking value of the sinking dollar and Venezuelas inability to maintain oil production levels at such a pricy time to sell it.

The countrys oil production facilities have been loosing efficiency because of the Supreme Courts order to seize billions of dollars of the countries holdings in foreign banks requested by the U.S. oil company Exxon pending the success of Exxon's suit against Chavez's regime. Also its veiled nationalization of the company's oil facilities when Chavez raised the royality rates for exporting the oil. The U.S. is Venezuela's number one recipient of its crude.

Chavez would like to give the world that he is still in complete control of his country, after several failed uprising's and assasination attempts on his life. The truth is he is severely worried at the present that his leftist socialist movement has come to a stall and his government doesn't have the money coming in to prop up the economy.
